"We come in pieces."
While it was nothing new at the time to believe in life from another world, it wasn't until my first LEGO Mars Mission set that I really started to question maybe the answers we were looking for weren't so far from home. The red planet has always held great intrigue to us and LEGO only furthered the imagination as to what those answers may be. In 1996 I was introduced to the inspiration for this set by filmmaker Tim Burton, which made me wonder: what if our neighbors weren't so friendly? based on the Topps trading cards, no Minifigure is safe when Mars Attacks!
