Imperial Navy Fortress

Thanks to everyone who supported!

500 supporters in two months! Amazing! We are already halfway to the next milestone! Remember to share if you want the Imperial Naval Outpost to become an official set!

For this update I have replaced the keg in the main floor with a stack of letters and an extra shako. I didn’t like how I just copied the keg from Barracuda bay, and besides, rum fits better with the pirates anyway! The biggest change is the sand I put around the fort! I added lots of new vegetation as well as some small rocks on the sides and the back. One of my favorite new additions is the cobblestone path that leads from the front gate to the dock! I built some small bricks to add more texture to the fort's walls. I am still awaiting some parts I ordered to add wood planks to the top deck and tower of the fort, so I will be adding another update when they arrive!

Be on the watch for a huge update that will be coming soon! The changes will include more detailed walls as well as a refined sand border. I recently placed an order for new parts that I will use to improve the ramparts and install a wooden floor in the tower and on the upper deck.

Okay, now for the update... 

For this update I added a plank on the dock that can be removed to reveal a secret treasure storage for pirates to hide their gold! 

I also added a historically accurate sailor minifigure. I always thought that it was odd that soldier worked on the ships in the imperial flotilla. While soldiers would have been present on 17th century fighting ships, they would have known little to nothing about handling them.
