LEGO Design - Key Points

The critical aspect of getting the design looking clean and solid was all to do with the head band. I started by using small technic linkages to create a subtle curve, but this meant it would flex and move around too much. Then I came across 24121 Technic Curve which created a perfect and strong curve.

Tyres were used for the ear cups as they created a simple compound curve. They also work well as they have a matt finish to match the texture on the actual headphones.

A technic style hinge allows the cups to b folded up, making the design more compact in storage.
