Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood Trolley

  Hi LEGO Neighbor!

Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood is a beloved children's television show which aired on Public Television beginning in the 1960s and to this day!

In each episode, the Neighborhood Trolley is summoned by Mr. Rogers to take us to the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Today, Trolley also appears in the popular show "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" which is produced by The Fred Rogers Company.

Size of the Neighborhood Trolley:

  • Length: 22cm (8.5in)
  • Width: 7cm (2.75in)
  • Height: 12cm (4.75in)

So many people grew up seeing the Neighborhood Trolley! Kids are taught to use their imaginations, they learn about life lessons, and were loved just the way they are. To me, these are also the values of LEGO!

Features of the Neighborhood Trolley:

  • Approximately 350 pieces
  • Compatible with LEGO train tracks
  • Removable roof for access to seats
  • Control lever just like in the show

Wise words from Mr. Rogers:
"
Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood."

"Knowing that we can be loved exactly as we are gives us all the best opportunity for growing into the healthiest of people."

Other notes on the Neighborhood Trolley:

  • Incorporate minifigures like Mr. Rogers and Daniel Tiger & Friends.
  • Because the show has been around for 50 years, there is broad appeal to a wide audience.
  • This Neighborhood Trolley is pretty big with a relatively low parts-count. Good value!
  • A fun addition to many people's LEGO cities.

Thank you so much for looking at my project. I appreciate you taking the time to support it!

  Bye Neighbor!
