Crashed on a desolate moon with no way to communicate with Earth, Bob and his robot sidekick are scrounging the terrain for a way back home. As they search, the pair come across a forgotten space portal. The portal needs a good fixing up. Bob and the robot use the old pieces from their rocket to get the portal back in working condition. Once they repair the portal and the control tower, they prepare to embark on the moon.
The Space Portal is made up of roughly 1000 pieces. The set includes one minifigure, robot, space portal, and control tower. If you rotate the gear in the back, the portal turns, creating the necessary motion to send Bob home.
This build was a lot of fun to design and make. It would be a great way for Lego to start a more Sci-Fi space theme.
