Upgraded main clock mechanism
First of all, thank you all so much for the fantastic support - both in project support, and comments. It's absolutely making my day.
Since the Astronomy clock was first published, I was not entirely happy about the pseudo clock mechanism ran - a simple smooth gearing between the input shaft and the clock axle seemed a bit too primitive. Now I would like to present a new, stepped clock mechanism.
Just like in the actual Prague Astronomy clock, the main clock face is separated into 24 1-hour parts. One turn of the input gear advances the clock by one hour. On top of that, the free space in the bottom segment of the structure can easily house a motor and battery pack, to make the whole thing fully automated.
I hope you do enjoy the update and am looking forward to your feedback!
