Digital second
I almost always create my MOCs by building with real LEGO bricks. Only rarely do I create a MOC digitally first, almost never exclusively digitally. I just love to choose different bricks, touch them and try them out. This is also the case here with our gnome.
Of course, digital models also have their advantages and so it happens from time to time that I take apart a built MOC and reassemble it to transfer it step by step into a digital model. The first advantage is that I suddenly know exactly how many bricks I used to build the MOC, et voila:
The gnome is created together with his magic mushrooms from exactly 779 LEGO bricks.
Another advantage, once the model is digitised, is that the MOC can be depicted in various scenes. And so we have the unique opportunity to watch our gnome on one of his nocturnal walks through the magic forest.
