Welcome to the Lego University Library, where the studying never ends! This two-story modular building includes 2164 bricks on a 32x32 baseplate. On the main floor you will find the head librarian's office, the checkout desk, a bookcase and newspaper rack, and four study tables. Climb the stairs to the second floor balcony where you will find more bookcases, two computer kiosks, and a table perfect for that late-night study date.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Lego University Foundation, we have upgraded the library from its original design. The building has been remodeled to include new windows and a new roof, plus a fresh coat of paint. A bench, streetlights, and flowers have been added to the front, while inside we have replaced all of the chairs, added more study desks, and installed new flooring. And finally, we have hired a professional photographer to capture all the images of the library.

The Lego University Library features a detachable roof and floors for easy access and play. In addition, the back wall hinges open to provide access to the fully assembled library. The entire building is offset by 1/2 stud, primarily using 2x2 with 1-stud plates, which creates a very unique and realistic design.

Thank you in advance for your support, and please remember to check out my other Lego Ideas designs!
