300 supporters + UPDATE 3!!
Thanks you for your support!!
For this update I made a stand for 2 mini figures representing Bowman and Poole, the Monolith, the EVA Pod (new design) and a Panel with informations about the ship.
200 supporters + Update 2 !!!
First of all thank you very much for the support!!!
A number of people commented that the spacecraft is too thin and long to cope with gravity and I took corrective actions.
So in this update:
- Multiple small axles in the core of the ship are being replaced with 3 longer axles and are being connected more firmly.
- The front and the back are connected more firmly with the central body with the body axles running through them.
- New stands: 2 on the edges to support the heavy head and the back of the ship and 1 in the middle to avoid bending.
- The central body is more accurate with a new design for the connection between the head and the main body and between the fuel modules.
Results: 101 studs long/ 80.8 cm long (+2,5 cm), 691 pieces (+12)
I hope to manage in the near future to pick up all the necessary parts in order to actually build it for a future update!! :)
I hope you like it !!!
(next update at 300 supports!)
(The 2 red pieces are the conection points of the axles)
Thank you!!
Thank you very much for your support so far! A big update is coming at the 200 supporters! ;)
Wow!
Thanks to all of you that supported my project and let it pass the first milestone!!
Antennas
This update concerns the antennas at the top of the spacecraft. Now the three dishes are more accurate and more stable. They are connected with a ball joint that allows the antenna to have 2 more features:
- It can rotate 360 degrees,
- it can aimed upwards or downwards like the real one
I hope you like it and thanks for the supporting so far!
Thank you for supporting!!
