Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers
Guess there's no need in presenting the most famous rodents in the world, so let me tell you instead what I have been driven by when creating this project. Watching this colorful classic as a kid I dreamed to be a part of their brave team and face all the breakneck adventures with them! Quite obvious that these nostalgic memories of running home to be on time by the start of the show was a strong source of inspiration to me, furthermore these days there's another wave of interest towards this show in our family that comes from our daughter with whom we make up our own little stories about RR!
About the build
The model has roughly 650 parts that went into the iconic aircraft built by Gadget and a minifigure stand with "RR" logo for display purposes! All 5 members are there including a brickbuilt Zipper of course!
By turning the "to the rescue!" crank the aircraft flaps it's wings imitating flight over a cloud!
These days among the AFOLS I see a clear demand for a middle range price collectible sets that makes me think that this concept could become a cute addition to Disney sets line up offering a beloved classic characters and playability with display value at the same time.
