This project is based upon the 2012 movie of The Lorax, which is based on the children's book by Theodor Seuss Geisel (a.k.a. Dr. Seuss) which was published on August 12th, 1971.
The minifigures proposed are the main characters from the movie (in no way in order of importance): Ted, Grammy Norma, Ted's Mom, The Once-ler, Audrey, Mr. O'Hare, and The Lorax. These are the minifigures I have made for the proposed set, but if LEGO decides not to make all of them, the "required" minifigures would be Ted, The Once-ler, The Lorax, and maybe Audrey.
As you can see below, I have tried to simulate the fluffy-ness of the Trufflala trees with Technic gears.
The house has three separate floors. The first floor has The Once-ler's kitchen table and "The Boot" (a spring shooter).
The second floor has his bed, a night table and a lamp with a ladder to get upstairs.
And the third floor has a chair and lamp with a dresser.
You can take each floor off, so you can play and/or look in the building. It can also be played with when it's put together, because of the play features on the outside of the building. This set contains 643 pieces: the minifigures - 34, the Truffala Trees - 39, and the Once-ler's house - 570.
