As a present, as a proclamation, or as something pretty to look at, A Flower in a Vase is that. A Flower in a Vase would make a great LEGO set as it is simple to build but is a good introduction to the technique of SNOT. It also uses interesting pieces to shape the vase.
The flower, a red rose, is built in a chaotic way where the vase is symmetrical and smooth. This provides some nice detailing and visual interest. The gold circle in the center of the flower is a nice touch.
A simple effective build of a pretty flower in vase that can serve many uses.
