TAXI!

Let me present this model of the classic New York City taxicab, which was produced from 1958 to 1982 by Checker Motors Corporation in Michigan.

The model is made of 633 LEGO pieces, and its approximate size is 22 cm (L) x 8 cm (W) x 8 cm (H). These dimensions make the model easily buildable, and you also don't need a large space to put it on display. Regarding functionality and details, this is a 10-stud wide 1:22.5 scale model with openable bonnet and trunk. You can find a V8 diesel engine under the bonnet, and there is a removable suitcase in the trunk. You haven exhaust pipe, outer and inner door handles, dashboard, pedals, and detailed seats.

I designed this car because I wanted to build a small but detailed scale model, between the 6 and 8-stud wide Speed Champions cars and the large Creator Expert ones. If you like the design, and would be happy to have one on your shelf at home, please vote and share.
