About Moomins:
The Moomins were created by Finnish artist and writer Tove Jansson (1914-2001). The first Moomin book was published in 1945. There are Moomin novels, short stories, picture books, comic strips, animation series and movies. There are also two Moomin theme parks, Moominworld in Finland and Moominvalley Park in Japan.

About the build:
This build is based on the Moomin TV series from 1990-1992.

The house can be opened and it makes the house easy to play with.

There are four floors. Rooms: kitchen, living room, dining room, bedroom, children’s room, Moominpappa’s office, guestroom, attic, Moomintroll’s bedroom and stairwells. The cellar roof can be opened for easier play.

This set contains 7 Minifigures: Moominpappa, Moominmamma, Moomintroll, Snorkmaiden, Little My, Snufkin and Sniff.
There are total of 2997 parts.

Why I built this & why this would be a great Lego set:
I grew up watching Moomins and I have also enjoyed watching them with my children. Moomins are timeless and great for all ages. At least in Finland you can find Moomins on almost every product, but Moomin Lego set is still missing. The Moominhouse makes an interesting and fun build because of its round shape and playability.

If you would like this to become a real Lego set please support. You can help this project also by sharing this to your friends or other Moomin fans. Thank you!

Ps. Let me know in the comments which is your favorite Moomin character.
