This is a Drive-In movie theatre which was popular in the 1960s and 70s. You would watch new and re-run full feature movies on a giant screen with family and friends right in your car or van. At intermission, you would visit the snack bar for refreshments.
I built this out of the memories it brought to so many families growing up and spending a night out with family and friends watching a movie.
I believe the set would be a wonderful build, along with it being a great addition to other LEGO sets to create a scene.
