Pirates of the Caribbean - The Mill

The second movie in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Dead Man's Chest, is one of my favorite movies of all time. It's witty, captivating, exciting and has amazing set design and effects. It also is likely the favorite movie of many other people as the movie series has been extremely successful worldwide and with the 20th anniversary of this movie coming soon and nostalgia setting in I thought now would be a perfect time to represent one of my favorite movies in Lego.

When I was searching for the perfect scene to recreate in Lego I was looking for a location that could be playable and displayable and I found the perfect one! Not only is the Mill scene iconic and exciting with the sword fight going from the top of the ruined bell tower to rolling down the island on top of the mill it is also one of the most visually stunning locations in the series with bright foliage and pretty ruins.

This would make a perfect Lego set because it is playable, displayable, and people having been wanting Lego Pirates of the Caribbean sets for a long time now. And finally, it would celebrate the 20th anniversary of Dead Man's Chest.
