4th Update - Engine detail

I have overhauled the whole engine bay, adding more detail and hoses and repainting the engine in a high contrast colour, to give it a little wow factor when you lift the hood!
Let me know what you think in the comments - and for the next update, I will start work on more detail inside the opening trunk!

3rd update - Colour correction?

A change of colour to both the body (a more accurate shade of pink, but still a real lego colour) and a change of the engine to a  more realistic colour which is truer to the original car.

I have kept previous changes such as the transparent windscreen as this was generally preferred to the original black one.

Thanks again for all the support so far! It's getting close to 3k now!

2nd Update - transparent windscreen

As a few people had requested a transparent windscreen, I have managed to make a 12 x4 windscreen fit into the model without too much adjustment, I actually think the model is now more accurate, and fits better with Lego's own creations. A bendable tube piece is used to create the smooth lines that wrap around it.

So please do tell me if you prefer the new transparent windscreen, or the original blacked out one in the comments and I will make a decision on wether or not to keep it!

1st Update. . .

Thank you everyone for all the support so far.

As promised I have begun working on one of the main suggestions, which was more interior detail. Shown below is the interior complete with bench seat, the roof and windows have been removed to make it more visible for the sake of this image.

Next I will be working on replacing some of the blacked out glass with transparent pieces to see if this can be done without comprimising the shape too much.

As always, comments criticisms and suggestions are welcome, so leave a comment and I'll see what I can do!
