Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.

17 hrs left: get 1 friend/family member to vote || Hank Green & climate scientists support
Just 17 hours left to reach the 5K votes threshold that keeps this project in contention. With ~3600 people 😃 voting in support 😃 of LEGO Solar Farm so far, we just need each voter to get 1 friend/family member to vote as well.
One of the best parts of this project has been seeing how people respond to the set. The kids and I are so grateful for your support!
Highlighting some comments shared in social media:
Entrepreneur/author Hank Green:
➡️ "Vote for this adorable LEGO solar farm set! It's a mixed-use solar farm with ground cover and honey bee hives!!"
Climate scientist Dr. Jesse Jenkins:
➡️ "We need more Lego clean energy sets!"
Climate scientist Dr. Leah Stokes:
➡️ "This is so dorky!! I love it."

After You've Voted - Here's Sample Instructions
A beekeeper would be a wonderful addition—LEGO's beekeeper minifig is a gem (but wasn't out when this set was first designed).
Happy to share a sample set of instructions for this build (free, I'm not selling anything).
But where to build it?
Siting solar, maybe even LEGO Solar, can be a difficult process. Research is indicating that agrivoltaics (agriculture+solar) can help maintain and strengthen solar's "Solar License to Operate" in more and more communities across the country.
The National Renewable Energy Lab's recent report about solar projects designed like this highlights the importance of social license (public support).

National Renewable Energy Lab (!) highlights LEGO Solar Farm
Thrilled to see the National Renewable Energy Lab highlight the LEGO Solar Farm project.
The best science communication is engaging—and building with LEGO is a great approach. The LEGO Solar Farm design builds on all the research NREL has done in pairing solar energy development with agriculture—a field called "agrivoltaics" or AgriPV.
We've made great progress toward the next goal (5,000 votes) for this project. **Thank you** for spreading the word and getting more votes on our way to the final goal of 10K. :-)
