Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Trolley with Power Functions

Direct from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe! Ding! Ding! It's the one and only Neighborhood Trolley!

I first built and submitted this tribute to Fred Rogers five years ago in the early days of LEGO Ideas (in the "Cuusoo" days).

As seen on the classic show "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" and the current PBS hit "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood," the Neighborhood Trolley is the single source of mass transit for the bustling Neighborhood of Make-Believe. 

I always felt that something was missing from my original model, so to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood," I've rebuilt the trolley to incorporate Power Functions - complete with IR control. 

The trolley is designed to run on standard LEGO tracks and both the IR sensor and battery pack are easily accessible as shown in the photos.
