Danish Summer Cottage 🇩🇰

This is a model of a typical Dansk Sommerhus. Located by the sea it is the perfect place to spend a wonderful family vacation. The large property provides plenty of space for the children to play. I included a traditional swing, many different plants and a huge tree.

The porch has a typical wooden fence as protection against the wind. The big table and the grill make it possible to enjoy a barbecue together.

The interior of any Danish Summer Cottage is characterized by its Scandinavian design and the modern and practical equipment that caters for every need. While the bedrooms are rather small, a spacious kitchen and living room encourage spending quality time together. To make it as cozy as possible I included a large sofa and the obligatory fireplace, as well as little details like candles and a ship in a bottle.

There's a lot the children can do: They can play ball games or with sand toys. And have you spotted the iconic Nightmare Shark Ship?

I’ve already spent many lovely vacations in Danish summer cottages and I’ve always thought they would make a brilliant Lego set. It’s not only a pretty realistic display model but also offers great play value: Since it can be opened in the middle there is easy access even to the smaller rooms.
