The Clifton Suspension Bridge was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, one of history's most ingenious and pioneering engineers. The bridge spans across the River Avon, linking Clifton in Bristol and Leigh Woods in North Somerset. It is Bristol's most iconic landmark and attracts tourists from around the world.
Lego has just opened a store in Cabot Circus in the heart of Bristol, and I think a set like this would be a perfect unique gift to celebrate the opening of the store!
I designed the set to fit in with the style of Lego's Architecture range, as I believe making a massive bridge which is accurate in every sense is possibly overkill. Sometimes a subtle design is far more effective. This is the first set I have designed and its been great fun. I hope you enjoy!
