Buenos Aires Obelisk

A miniature replica of the famous obelisk in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This set perfectly complements the Lego "Architecture" line.

The monument was built on May 3, 1936. Designed by architect Alberto Prebisch, it stands 67.5 meters tall and 175 workers participated in its construction.

It is located in the "Republic Square", a central place in the city, where the most important avenues converge, commemorating the first 400 year anniversary of the city founding.

This place is so symbolic that many special popular gatherings have happened there, with dozens of thousands of people attending.
