The Idea
The name of this set is “Mechanical Gearbox with robotic hand”.
I decided to create it because I’m a passionate both of Lego constructions and mechanical engineering.
The Build
This set is composed by:
- a mechanical gearbox
- a gear lever
- a robotic hand
The build is made of both Technic and classical Lego pieces.
The Functionality
This gearbox, through the gear wheels, st gear, second gear and reverse gear (respectively indicated with 1, 2 and R). , in a simplified way, how real manual gearboxs work and it can also be used for formative purposes.
The robotic hand is fully movable (as you can see in the picture) and you can also use it as a standalone piece of furniture.
