Purple Heron (Ardea Purpurea)

Here is another set dedicated to animals.

The subject proposed in this set is the purple heron.

An elegant heron skilled at fishing.

What is it?

It is an elegant display to be displayed in full view in your homes or offices, which depicts a beautiful specimen of purple heron (Ardea purpurea), in the scene I have inserted its prey, a green frog.

The complete heron is made up of 1780 pieces.

The frog is made up of 108 pieces.

N.B. the wings are not movable ... the attachment point (2 spheres) still leaves

the possibility of attaching open wings.

In the standing posture the heron is 75 cm tall.

The entire set with water and soil comes to 2100 pieces.

The heron model can orient its head, tail, neck and legs, assuming various postures.

The standing posture is the one that should require less support.

Why did you build it? Because I like animals and I like LEGO sets dedicated to them.

Why do I think this would be a great LEGO set?

This build will delight nature lovers, bird watchers and wildlife photographers with its detail.

The model can assume various postures making the set customizable. The setting with the land and water makes it a fantastic display piece that will look good in any home!
