Thank you for 5000 supporters!

I just wanted to thank you all for 5K supporters. All your support has blown me away. I've said it a hundred times and I'll say it a hundred more. Thank you so much for all your support!

Eda's Flying Bathtub

For this update I decided to add two things. Firstly, I decided to design Eda's alternate casual outfit from the show as it's one of my favorite designs from the show.

Look at these adorable slippers!

Within this update I also added two mug designs because it's one of the most fun Lego pieces to work on.

You might see these designs show up aound the build in the future.

Now onto the bigger part of the build: Eda's Flying Bathtub. This addition was planned when I mad the first build redesign. I didn't have it 100% planned out but I deliberately left myself some space within the side storage room to fit it in.

I self taught myself 3D animation from essentially the ground up to work on this update so I hope you all like it as much as I am proud of it.

The build was designed to match the scale and size of the Lego Bicycle piece to reflect that of the show, I think the side-by-side works really well!

Below is a short (bonus) Looping animation I made while I was teaching myself to animate. It's much more simple than the complex (Non Linear) Multi-layered animation of the full demonstration, but it's a fun little animation you can play on a loop :)

Lego Eda IRL 😳

I decided to build my Owl Beast model in physical Lego form. Both to test out the structural integrity of the build and because I am immensely proud of how it turned out!

I think the model looks stunning in person. I am SOO proud of how it turned out.

Unfortunately Lego hasn't done the large Eagle wings in Dark Grey as of yet, so in order to demonstrate and test the scale I had to substitute a pair in White & Gold from the Fantastic Beasts 75952.
In order to build myself a display model however; I used parts 20313 and 20312 as they both appear in sets in Dark Grey.

I personally think it looks great and still clearly demonstrates the large wing-span and articulation of the model. Below is a comparison between a rendered version (Right), With matching lighting and shadows, and the physical model
 (Left).

After checking this model for structural security, I have now updated the publicly available model on Mecabricks so that you too can build your own version of the model. Hope you all enjoyed this little update as much as I did!

Build Update / Project Overhaul

I must apologise. I guess I must have forgotten to post this update when I updated the project. Anyway... Better late than never.

This update consists (or consisted) of a major overhaul to the project build. This includes the Kitchen area at the back of the house, as well as an improvement to the balcony / storage area.

I also added some extra renders of the figures in the project for some more views of them.

The first of these updates is the Storage Area / Balcony. After getting some better views of it during Season 2A, I knew I had to update this area to better match the show. I initially didn't assume that it was rounded from the reference I used, but I think it's designed to resemble part of the tower part of the house (Perhaps I'll add That in a future build update). It works out quite well to have updated this as I needed a bit more storage space for the added Portal door (Which fits quite perfectly within the extra space).

The second and bigger part of this update is the Kitchen expansion to the build. This area features a removable roof and can be opened on a pivot point on the side.

It's fully decorated and features multiple pieces of aesthetic-fitting furniture from the show

The interior living room wall has also been redecorated with a new stove design and can still easily be removed through the back of the build the same way.

I hope you all enjoy this update, sorry it took so long to get posted.

Here's a teaser for the next character I plan to add to the project. Should be coming around 5-6k supporters, so be sure to share with your friends!

Character Updates

My latest update is a small update to the characters within the project. Plus a little teaser for another upcoming character at the end ;)

The First update is King. I've wanted to update this design for a while as the first one wasn't very detailedor clear in places other than the face. I also wanted to update his design to his Season 2 appearance with his broken horn reattached and his updated collar. I hope you like this redesign. I think it looks even cuter than the first :)

The second (and probably most requested) character update is Amity. I updated her design to her Season 2 look. With a different torso design, leg colour and of course some recoloured hair. I personally feel the original hair looks a lot better in Lego form but I love the Lavender colouring for the figure!
The third update wasn't so heavily requested but I've wanted to add it since I saw Season 1: Otter / Grom outfit Luz. Ever since Lego released the Pug mask in other colours I've had the inspiration for this figure. I think it came out brilliantly.

Finally, a group shot of the update!

Plus a bonus edit of this render using a background from the show!

I hope you love this update as much as I did making it! It's honestly one of my favorite renders I've ever made! Thank you all so much for all your support so far!!

Anyway, I promised a teaser for an upcoming character so here it is! I'll probably add this one somewhere closer to 5k or 6k (to try to space out the content updates) so be sure to share the project!

Portal Door

Another key part of the series which I wanted to add to the project is the Portal Door. The Update features a Portal Door, Case and a Key. All with unique designs! They all translate really well into Lego because of the corresponding parts! I'm really proud of how this update turned out and I hope you like it too!

Eda's Owl Beast form & Lilith!

This update is something I've wanted to add to the project from the very early stages but I wanted to get it perfect before I added it. I also decided to add Lilith in this update as she is connected to Eda's Owl Beast form and I also felt the project was lacking a 'villain' character.

Eda's Owl Beast form features a rotatable head with two expressions each representing a different phase of her Owl Beast transformation. (One fully transformed and another halfway through)

The head can also be swapped out for the regular Eda head to make her half-transformed beast state!

The Owl beast form features over a dozen points of articulation (With 3 ball joints in the front leg alone) for maximum posability and playability!

The wings also fold out into a flight form which measures at over 26 studs wide! (16 studs wider than with the wings folded in),

The Lilith figure features multiple expressions, showing both her pre and post season 1 finale versions, as well as her iconic staff. (I am particualrly proud of how distinct the two look with only the change of the palisman).

I hope you all enjoy this update. Massive thanks to you all for the support and shares over these past few weeks. We hit 1k and I am extremely grateful. Thank you <3

Gus, Willow and Amity

An obvious trio which I just HAD to add to the project is Gus, Willow and Amity: Luz's three best friends on The Boiling Isles. I had a lot of fun designing these three for the project and love how the use of the Elf hairs turned out. I hope you all like the update too <3

Extra Renders and a viewable model.

Okay, so the support over the last few days has been crazy. So many supporters and so many nice comments. Thank you all.

Anyway, I realized I had a few extra renders that I made during the design process, so I thought I'd share 'em here for you all.

Also, I got some requests from to get the build and parts list for the set. So I made a version without the custom decals available on my Mecabricks page:

Thank you all so much for the support!
