The Burj Al Arab hotel is one of my favorite looking buildings. I modeled it after the style of the Lego Architecture sets. The Architect of the real building was inspired by the shape of a sail. I wanted to do something similar so I started the build with a mast! the main back piece is 48002, a commonly used piece in ship sets. What better way to hold a sail? Then from there i scaled everything to that piece and i think it turned out quite nicely! unfortunately the long curved pieces you see i had to draw in because they won't flex like they really would, but in the other pictures you can see the smaller pieces used to represent what it would be like. Anyways yeah! i hope everyone likes it! Also check out my other projects through the links below!
