Kampung House

Kampung House or Malay House is found everywhere at rural area in my country where I born and grow up. The unique traditional building architecture is beautiful. It is constructed using renewable natural materials including timber and bamboo. The house are elevated to prevent animals and floods. Some Malay houses which built on stilts are removable by crowds of people.

Malay houses (Malay: Rumah Melayu; Jawi: رومه ملايو) are traditional dwellings, originating before the arrival of foreign or modern influences, and constructed by the indigenous ethnic Malay of the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo.
