LEGO Angela & Hallway for Mr. Feeny's classroom (LEGO Harley, Joey & Frankie and a GMW Easter Egg!)
It's been little over a month since the proposal for LEGO Boy Meets World started and to celebrate I have a new update that just got published to the main page!
The images have been updated with the changes I've been sharing here and on social media... These included several improvements / tweaks.
But I also have a NEW update!
The model for Mr. Feeny's classroom now includes an exterior hallway (with lockers) and in the class itself I added an easter egg referencing the "Boy Meets World" spin off "Girl Meets World" (see the last image below).
And with this addition, I was now able to add one new minifigure to the official proposal page as per the LEGO guidelines, so LEGO Angela Moore is now an official part of the proposal!
Finally, to celebrate the update and because of the hallway addition, I HAD to create a LEGO Harley Keiner, Joey The Rat Epstein and Frankie Stecchino!

F.A.Q - (and added Mr. Turner, Angela, Jack and Rachel!)
First, I have to extend a huge thank you to the cast of Boy Meets World and Pod Meets World for their shoutouts and support. It was crazy to see Danielle Fishel was supporter #82!
I see how BMW fans have been coming out in support for this idea, we're already getting close to 2,000 of the 10,000 supporters we need! As a thank you I wanted to answer some questions and also share a quick update!
F.A.Q
- What happens when we reach 10,000 votes?
- It will go into a judging period where LEGO will review the design and that is about 6 months they will let the public know if they will make it an official set! After that, it generally takes about a year for me and LEGO to finalize the design & release the set to the public. So for now, we just have to focus on getting 10,000 votes!
- Is this the first time you've done this?
- No, actually I am the creator and fan designer for the LEGO set for "The Office". So I have some experience with this. I really enjoy building things I have nostalgia for, so I have projects for other projects (like Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, Reading Rainbow, Hook, Parks and Recreation), which you can find by clicking my profile name JJTheOfficeGuy. I love creating things that make fans happy.
- Where are Angela, Jack, Rachel and Mr. Turner?
- Unfortunately LEGO has limits on how many minifigures I can submit in the initial proposal based on the size of the set, but I did design them. You can find their minifigures included in the update below to see what they look like!
- Where is Chubbies or the Hallway?
- Honestly it would be great to have every location from the entire 7 season run in my design, but I try to be mindful of size because I feel if I make a set too big it creates a barrier for fans to purchase because it would be too expensive. I had to think about the most iconic locations for me as a fan. Plus too many sets would be hard to display. I do try to put references for things I couldn't include though!
- Why did you include the Matthews home and Feeny's classroom?
- They are both the most iconic locations to me as a fan. The Matthews home is where most of the show occurred. And I really wanted a class room because Mr. Feeny (Bill Daniels) and his lessons is a big part of what made the show special. I also wanted to give fans a place to recreate the final scene.
- Team Backyard or Sideyard?
- Both? Matthews Backyard, Feeny's Sideyard. The layout of their houses was weird to figure out watching the show and from what I can tell I think the Matthews live on a corner with Mr. Feeny? But why knows? This is also a show where Morgan became a new person & Minkus and Mr. Turner "went" to the other side of the school. ;)
- Does the top of the stairway lead to a portal where Morgan will disappear for seasons and will be replaced by a variant?
- Um, yes? LOL!
- Which Morgan Matthews is this? Lily or Lindsay?
- So funny enough, about 5 minutes after I submitted this to LEGO I thought "Oh, I should have added 2 faces for Morgan" as an in-joke. That's the funny thing about being a LEGO designer, you're always thinking of new things to add. But to answer the question, they are both in the update below.
- The BMW cast just talked about LEGO in their podcast "Pod Meets World", did you know that?
- Actually, I didn't! I started thinking about this a while ago and really started working on it a couple weeks ago. I was behind on the pod, so this proposal was live for a couple days before I heard what they would like in a 'LEGO Boy Meets World' set from their Q&A on Feb 6th. I was almost done designing it by that point & getting ready to submit it. I was really happy to hear a lot of what they wanted is in this design!
- Which seasons are your favorite?
- I really love the earlier seasons, you will see a lot of influences there in my design! Like Topanga having 2 hairstyles and the lipstick. The laundry basket Cory and Topanga used to play basketball with socks (cute). There are 2 1500 X-Hydro Saturator Water Guns. Cory and Topanga's red Phillies caps. The basketball Cory gave Shawn. Inside the tree house there is baseball stuff. There are items in the kitchen with an "S" on it. But there are a few references to later seasons I added and more will come to mind.
- In the classroom, I put references to Mr Feeny and Mr Turner in there. The layout is very similar to the class room in the series finale, but there are items there like the Shakespeare bust which were in early seasons in Feeny's class. But the desks are colored the same way as in Mr. Turner's class.
- What are the names of Plays With Squirrel's Squirrels?
- Nina and Tara, it's an personal joke really for two big BMW fans who are friends of mine.
UPDATE
Here are two updated pictures for the minifigures, the top pictures represents the early seasons while the bottom picture represents later seasons.
- Added Mr. Turner, Angela, Jack and Rachel to the set! (bottom pic)
- Gave fans the option to switch Cory, Shawn and Topanga from kids to adults with grown up legs (bottom pic)
- Topanga's kid face has the lipstick on it from "Cory's Alternative Friends" (top pic). I also gave her grown up fig scissors (bottom pic).
- Shawn is now in a leather jacket and has a Chubbies menu (bottom pic)
- Mr Feeny has a book to read (top pic)
- Morgan has 2 faces, the younger one for Lily (top pic) and the older one for Lindsay (bottom pic)
