Welcome to Riverside Cottage, my first LEGO Ideas project that captures the beauty of nature and the peace of a cozy forest home.
A Place Full of Life
The modell is full of details:
- By the river, a father and his daughter roast marshmallows over a campfire while their dog chases a butterfly.
- A fallen tree trunk serves as a bridge
- Inside the house, a woman enjoys a peaceful coffee break, while a pigeon sits on the roof, proudly enjoying its stolen cookie.
- The basement holds supplies, tools, and hidden secrets - including a mysterious treasure map
- The cozy main floor features a table with a fresh croissant, perfect for a relaxing breakfast.
- Upstairs, a large bed in the attic offers the perfect spot for a good night’s sleep after a day of adventure.
My Idea
The idea for Riverside Cottage started with a personal project - I wanted to design a LEGO set as a Christmas gift for my sister. At first, I imagined a grand castle, but soon I realized that an enchanted, little cottage in the countryside would feel much more inviting. This set is the result: a charming house on a hill, surrounded by nature, adventure, and small hidden treasures, like a gold nugget hidden under a rock.
