Shin Godzilla

Thanks to everyone who has supported so far! I'm building the physical version of my Shin Godzilla design now, and I thought it would be fun to share some photos of the process.

I've found places where I can reduce the piece count, places where I need to up the piece count, and some small sections that needed a redesign. Overall, though, the build is going well, even with Stud.Io's finicky instruction maker!

I've made some adjustments to the arms. I added a Hero Factory arm/leg and some plating to give it some length, which I think will make him less T-Rex and more Zilla. Thankfully, Rando Yaguchi has made it through the build without any adjustments needed.

Since my brick-buying budget is limited, it's always a relief when the color of some bricks doesn't matter. I've been having trouble digging 1x6 Technic Bricks in black out of my collection, but thankfully I can use these easy-to-find yellow ones in the frame.

These are only some of the pieces I am using for this build. I had them organized into compartments, but unfortunately, my organizer's inner walls were pretty flimsy and dislodged, and my parts just started mixing together. I'm attempting again to sort them into something a little better organized.
