Hobbiton

Hello Lego Fans! Over the past two weeks I have built a Lego Hobbiton Set. For those of you who do not know what Hobbiton is, and you are coming here for your curiosity of the build, this is the place in the Lord Of The Rings and Hobbit series, both from the author J. R. R. Tolkien.

So in the books and movies of the LOTR and Hobbit series, the main story starts out in Hobbiton, for the LOTR series it starts out on the day of Frodo and Bilbo's Birthday (Blbo's 111th Birthday, and Frodo's 33rd Birthday, considered to be the coming of age, kind of like us turning 18.), where everyone in Hobbiton is gathered together to celebrate, dancing, cheering, singing, and storytelling goes on all night until Bilbo goes up on stage and famously states "I like half of you half as well as I would like to, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.". Roughly a minute later "Poof" he disappears. Then the partying and dancing, and cheering, and singing, and storytelling went on while Gandalf's fireworks blast in the air by two mischevious hobbit friends of Frodo,

Anyways, this set is on a 64x80 stud baseplate, and is packed with detail, also having the ability to recreate scenes from the LOTR and Hobbit Series, including Bag End, another Hobbit Hole, The Green Dragon, Party Stand, Party Seating, A River, a Bridge, a Fishing Dock, a Marketplace, and a path on each side of the river.

Inside Bag End, there will include two different shelves, a table with chairs for the feast with dwarves, and a writing stand for writing out There and Back Again, and a chest with sting, and some gold. and on the roof, there is the giant tree that grows ontop of Bag End, with the ability to put the acorn in the ground from Beorn's House, and along the fence their is a gate that states "no admittance except on party business" and a mailbox.

Inside the other hobbit hole, there is a table to feast at, a shelf, and a chest for utilites such as a pitchfork, a trowel, and a broom then there is a stone floor that is covering the rest of the building. While on the outside there is a bench, a pathway to gate and a flowery bush.

Inside the Green Dragon, there is a furnace for cooking, and a sign for orders, also four tables with seating surrounding it, and the sign and lantern are on the outside swaying in the wind.

In the river there are three fish, one getting caught by the su-Fish-ent fisherman. (pun)

The paths on the closer side in the main picture is a stone path, with leaves invading on either side, the path on the far side in the main picture are is a dirt path.

This build is roughly 2000 pieces excluding water pieces.

There will be 30 minifigures: Bilbo, Frodo, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Gandalf, Thorin, Fili, Kili, Balin, Dwalin, Oin, Gloin, Nori, Ori, Dori, Bifur, Bofur and Bombur, Rosy, Fatty Bolger (Frodo's Friend in books), the Old Gaffer Gamgee, and 7 other hobbits, one being a chef, one being a fisherman, two in the marketplace, and the other three as a family.

Please feel free to support, comment, follow, and definitely share, also suggestions are prefered, one of the updates will include a tent with fireworks.
