Hop aboard the Hogwarts Express! Help Harry and his friends defend themselves from the dementor until Professor Lupin comes to help them.
This project is an attempt in recreating the Hogwarts Express, as seen in the Harry Potter movies, in lego. As a lover of both lego and Harry Potter, I have designed the train as recognizable as possible and included the ability for one to add Power Functions so then the train is able to run on its own. The coach has two opening doors on both sides and has enough space to fit around 6 minifigures, two of which have to be standing. The cab of the locomotive includes interior detail as well as enough room to fit the driver. It also has working connecting rods, which add to the life-likeness of the set.
The minifigures included are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Remus Lupin, a Dementor, and a train driver. I decided to include Remus Lupin and the Dementor so one could recreate scenes that occurred in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
