Discworld

Sir Terry Pratchett had a wonderful way with words. His Discworld books, full of warmth, wit and wisdom, had an enormous influence on me growing up. I've created this model of Discworld (laying on top of four elephants, standing on top of the Great A'Tuin) for my own display - it serves as a constant reminder of the great works of sir Terry. Characters of Rincewind, Death, Sam Vimes, Granny Weatherwax and so many others brought me so much joy. I hope that this model brings you at least a bit of the same joy.

I have no idea if there's any chance of Discworld being release as a LEGO Ideas set (I know I'm not the first to try). But if you like this idea, be sure to support. And if you like the actual model, I'd be delighted if you build your own version!

And if you've never read the books, I cannot stress how highly I recommend picking them up. "Guards! Guards!" is a great one to start - one of my personal favorites.
