SpaceX Falcon Heavy

Good evening friends,

Below is the most recent upgrade to the FH. External piping has been added to the second side booster (left).

From the beginning of this project, one of my goals was to design the FH in a way that would keep the building experience fresh and exciting. In other words, not make it seem repetitive. While I believe this goal has been accomplished throughout every facet of the project, I feel this new addition further contributes to the joy of the building experience. Just like the real FH, the pipage on this booster is smaller than the pipes on the opposite booster. I also feel this new upgrade gives the FH a more industrial or machine-like feel.

Greetings fellow rocketeers,

These last six weeks have been amazing. Today we skyrocketed to 5,000 supporters! Which officially puts us halfway to our goal.

Thank you all so much for your support. Not only for hitting that support button, but for sharing this project with your friends, and for all the positive feedback I have received. Your comments continue to motivate me in so many ways.

As we progress toward our goal of 10,000 supporters, keep checking back at the "Updates" tab for future improvements to the FH and for future polls. Your opinion matters to me. So please keep sending me your suggestions. I'm trying my best to address them all and I will be posting pictures of the most recent upgrade later next week.

*UPDATE (03/23/2018): The count is in and #1 had the popular vote. So that will be the one we stick with. For those of you who voted differently don't fret. If we do make it to 10,000 and LEGO does make this into a set there is a stong possibility the final thing will look different anyway :)

Hello friends!

We are officially one month into our journey toward 10,000 subscribers and it's a blessing that we are almost halfway there already. Thank you all for all the support that you have given this project! And thank you for sharing it within your circle of influence.

Many of you have waited patiently for new updates to the FH. Well, I'm extremely delighted to finally present you with those upgrades. And yes the Tesla is included :)

Below I have listed all the changes that were made. I hope it holds you over until the next update! I am always working on new ways to perfect the Falcon Heavy build. I read every comment and take every suggestion into consideration. So please keep sharing your thoughts in the "comments" section and make sure you keep checking back here at the "updates" tab for future posts.

UPGRADES:
Cherry red Tesla Roadster with Starman
New booster nose cones
Different internal support structures designed for each booster (including 2nd stage)
Side boosters are 3 inches taller
Center core is 4 inches taller
2nd stage engine is now metallic
"SpaceX" decals added to both side boosters
Rescaled "SpaceX" decals
Payload support structure improvements
Satellite has been rescaled to account for the new payload support structure and now has black solar panel array hinges

Well I'm at a loss for words. I took a look at the support count at lunch today and I estimated that we would reach 1,000 supporters by Wednesday (which would have been awesome). But instead a few hours later I received a text that we hit 1,000.

You guys are so cool! Thank you so much for supporting this project and sharing it. Keep up the great work my friends. We'll be at 10,000 in no time.

Hello there!

Several of you have informed me that you would like to see the Tesla Roadster added to the set. Well, I thought I'd give it a try and so far I am very pleased with the build. It even allows for a microfigure Starman (from the Saturn V set). Cherry red parts have been ordered so the finished product will reflect the true color of the vehicle. Will post the finished product upon completion.
