Trains can take you places - this set takes you back in time.

The train is based on the Caledonian 812 ‘Jumbo’ first built in 1899. The station is inspired by Brechin station on the historic Caledonian railway. The minifigures wear period dress and the adverts in the station were designed to look right for the period. The minifigures can travel in the carriage included with the set.

One of the power functions lights turns on the light on the front of the train. The second lights up the fire in the firebox.

I designed this to have a working 0-6-0 LEGO train with power functions. I think it would make a great set to have a period steam train and station on any LEGO railway.
