Pandinus Imperator

The emperor scorpion, Pandinus imperator, is a species of scorpion native to rainforests and savannas in West Africa. It is one of the largest scorpions in the world and lives for 6–8 years. Its body is black, but like other scorpions it glows pastel green or blue under ultraviolet light. It is a popular species in the pet trade, and is protected by Cites (the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora).

I have always found the scorpion a fascinating and magnificent animal, this enigmatic animal that we believe straight out of the 4th dimension.

This is why I decided to create my version of the mythical and majestic Emperor Scorpion. It is made up of 746 parts and around fifty articulations (legs, torso, pincers and tail). You can therefore position and move your scorpion as you wish.
I spent countless hours on this project in order to find the ideal shape, design and structure to be able to articulate it without risking breaking it.
Just like the real one, my model is fluorescent under the UV lamp.

I also created a decor including a rotating base in order to be able to put the scorpion in complete safety, as well as three different desert plants, which you can arrange as you wish.
Perfect decoration for your home.
