On the River ( Dragonfly Zygoptera - Damselfies)

Today I want to present you a set dedicated to dragonflies.

In particular to one species, the Zygoptera, also known as damselfies for their elegant and slender shape.

The set reproduces the bank of a river where a blooming water iris and a bud host a pair of damselfies mating in their classic heart-shaped posture.

What is it?

It is a beautiful colored set, with the two insects that can be positioned at will on the wild iris flower.

It is a set dedicated to nature lovers, it can be displayed on a desk or in the living room.

It is a set that can be educational for children.

It is a set in which you could include the possibility of coloring the dragonflies at will by providing the pieces dedicated to the body in at least two other colors.

Why did I make it?

I made it to enrich the collection of sets dedicated to insects or animals in general.

I would like to receive it at home as a gift.

I think it would be a great LEGO set because there are so many fans

who would like to build it and display it in their homes.

The set includes the stand with the river portion, the wild iris plant and the two damsels.

The two dragonflies are articulated and can be joined together.

The dragonflies' wings assume the closed and open position.
