Ladies&gents,
Let me introduce you my latest LEGO creation:
a STRAIGHT-FOUR 4STROKE 4CYLINDER ENGINE!
I think it's pretty cool 😎
the video below is showing it revving ;)
It's composed of about 2500 bricks.
Dimensions are (about) 35x15x35 (cm)
It has a Double OverHead Camshaft and 4 valves-per-cylinder, all perfectly timed, seeing intake-compression-combustion-exhaust cycle! The crankshaft is flat.
It can be assembled as a real engine (pic2 show all macro-pieces)
- crankcase (upper+lower)
- head
- distribution chain (and gears)
- 4 spark plugs
- 1 driveshaft
- 8 intake valves (blue)
- 8 exhaust valves (red)
- 2 camshaft
- 4 pistons + 4 connecting rod
...if u are a pistonhead nerd and/or a motorsport lover, this is the perfect LEGO kit 4 u!
