“I’m made of Lego!? Ratchet, am I cool now?”

Ratchet and Clank is a gaming and PlayStation icon, and this build of one of the titular characters can appeal to fans of Lego, gaming, and both! This figure comes in at about 1.14 feet tall (0.35 meters), which is about 1/2 game scale.

Included is the Clank figure, a bowtie accessory, alternate eyes (for a total of four eyes), and a plaque with the titular characters in minifigure form. The bowtie and alternative eyes can be stored on the back of the plaque. Contains 596 pieces.

For pose-ability, this figure features 31 points of articulation. The head has a neck rotation and hinge for the antenna. Each arm has up and down and rotational motion in the shoulder, a bicep swivel, elbow, wrist swivel, and fingers each on two ball joints. The torso has a waist swivel and each leg has forward, back, and side to side motion at the hip, a thigh swivel, knee, and the ankle can move forward, back, and rotate.

Plenty of studs-not-on-top building techniques were utilized, leading to a nearly completely smooth build, similar to his metal finish in-game. Since the eyes are attached via double hinges and jumpers, they can be altered for different expressions. Using the alternate eyes and just rotating the tiles slightly up can give a face of anger and rotating them down can show sorrow or disappointment. The bowtie is a reference to Clank's standalone game appearance 'Agent Clank'.

One key reason I think this would be a great set is the concept: a cute little robot nearly anyone who has played the games wished they could have. This model can look great anywhere and be instantly recognizable to gaming fans, along with fulfilling some childhood dreams.

Side note: I have no affiliation with PlayStation, Ratchet and Clank, or any associated brands or parties. I simply am a fan :)
