Route 66

I have decided to immortalize the world famous Route 66 in lego! This set includes a section of smooth black road, a sports car and the iconic Route 66 sign, and makes a very nice display piece.

The sign in particular was a complex small build that took a lot of re-designing, but I finally settled on a compact design I am pleased with. The car uses some cool techniques such as candle pieces for detailing at the front, and contains some luggage in the back.
