Although The Old Train Station doesn't function as the Central Station anymore, it remains an important hub in the Lego City Train Network. It's a characteristic building with a lot of classic details such as a classic chandelier, tile flooring and wood paneling.
Over the years it has been modified to fit the standards of the modern times. The old wooden ticket office has been replaced by a ticket machine, a ramp has been added for minifigs in a wheelchair, and the building is powered by solar panels.
The set comes with 5 minifigs including a custom wheelchair.
