Polaroid is a camera company that started in 1948 and gained success because they were the first company to make instant photos. The Swinger is a line of cameras produced from 1965-1970 and it was one of their most successful products ever with over 5 million of them sold because it was easy to use and it was a relatively "cheap" camera at only $19.95.
The Swinger was discontinued in 1970 along with Polaroid's type 20 film, but it is still very popular with collectors. This project, with 159 pieces, is a model of the Polaroid Swinger Model 20.
