From Digital to Real World!
At the Whatcom Museum event last week we built the brick model of the previously digital plans that I submitted to LEGO Ideas.
We had a great time and I had a bunch of eager helpers. 🥰
Here's the final brick-built model:
I'm not really liking the rather blocky roof peaks with the white slopes so may do a little tweaking on those if that's allowed not that voting is open.
Thanks to everyone's support we hit 1500 votes last night - in just 12 days since the project was approved.
If you're in the Bellingham area join us at the Whatcom Home Show this weekend (Saturday April 13th from 11-4) at the Lynden fairgrounds where we'll have the model on display along with a 20'x20' LEGO play space with bulk bricks, a photo booth, building activities, and more!

THANK YOU!
Thanks to everyone for helping us hit 1,000 - in just 12 days!!
We held an event Friday at the Museum and had an amazing time with the kids building and playing. We also built a real version of the model that had only been digital up until now!
After building the model I'm a bit disappointed in the peaks on the roof so already am planning a few small tweaks.
On to 5000!!
