BR DP1 - DELTIC
The English Electric DP1 was one of Britain's most iconic diesel locomotives, with its unmistakeable blue and cream white livery and the name DELTIC painted on both sides. It was built in 1955 by English Electric and featured two Napier Deltic engines resulting in a whopping 3,300 horsepower. This prototype's success resulted in a serial production of the BR Class 55.
Details
- The set features a LEGO-stylished model of the Deltic, 2 BR Mark 1 passenger coaches with interiors and a driver minifigure.
- The locomotive is powered by 2 standard LEGO Motors 28740p1.
- It can be connected to other train models using the magnet coupling system on both ends.
I believe this highly detailed and easy to build model would make a great addition to everyone's train collection, or a great place to start building trains.
