Ready.
Set.
Bake!
I was inspired to make this set after building the Office set with my wife and wondering what other shows might fit in this category, and make a good Lego building experience. We have watched many of season of the Baking Show, through it's various hosts and scores of contestants. So why not build your own tent to reenact all your favorite signature bakes, technical challenges, and jaw dropping show stoppers.
I debated on which lineup of hosts and judges to use, as they have all been great, and decided to use the most current lineup. Apologies to all Mel and Sue fans and of course apologies to the legendary Mary Berry. I also opted to do the tent in two halves, this allows for the build to be be done together as a group build, or as a date night build. The hinge also allows for more flexibility when displaying. Also included is the Union Jack on the base to pay homage to the shows country of origin.
The Tent awaits the final four bakers in the Great British Baking Show, though I think one is clearly not making star baker this week. Great for those looking to relax and to get caught up in some friendly competition without all the drama of American shows. This set also has the benefit of coming with exactly zero soggy bottoms, and hopefully it is worthy of that coveted Paul Hollywood handshake. So grab your favorite pastry and have a great night in with this set.
