Medieval Farm

I've always loved LEGO sets based in the medieval time period but I also love a set that looks really good so I decided to try my hand at combining the two and, as a result, I've ended with what I consider to be a pretty little scene with a windmill, some crops, a small creek, and a tree.

As far as the minifigures go, I decided to make a little family living in the country that may operate the windmill and harvest the crops and such. The father is a strong tough looking fellow but is kind at heart. the Mother helps her husband with things around the farm and tends to their son. This little boy likes to run around and explore, play in the creek and climb trees. The dog enjoys splashing in the creek as well for it will often be found following the boy around.
(unfortunately some of the printing on the figures didn't show up in the final render)

There aren't really any play features on this build but the windmill's sails can turn (and could most likely be motorized if one wished to do so) and the entire windmill can actually be removed from the rest of the build if you for whatever reason wanted to display it separately. In the end though this build was mostly just designed with the looks in mind.

Thank you very much if you choose to support this entry, I hope you find it as intriguing as I still do, even after building the entire thing!
