The DC-6 was an airplane from the 1940's-50's and it was purchased by many different airlines. I built this plane because I wanted a four engine piston powered aircrafts, the DC-6 fits in that category so I set off to build it, but I also wanted a Pan Am plane too. The McDonnel Douglas also fits in that category. I made sure to add some features to this plane such as fully functioning flaps, landing gear and elevators(or horizontal stabilizer). This aircraft has a full interior with a galley, two beverages, two small carts and a functioning door. I also made a stand for display. I believe this would make a great LEGO set because it is a good opportunity to build a really nice, smaller and fully detailed model.
