Columbo

Hello and welcome to my next Lego Idea.

As a Fan of TV Series I decided to build something never seen before.
Its for all fans of the 60s and 70s, Oldtimer, TV-Series and so on.
I remember when I was a child and watched this show with my parents.

Columbo and his 403 Cabriolet.

Columbo is an American television series starring Peter Falk as a detective
with the Los Angeles Police Department. The character and show, created by William Link
and Richard Levinson, popularized the inverted detective story format which begins
by showing the commission of the crime and its perpetrator; the series therefore
has no "whodunit" element. The plot revolves around how a perpetrator whose
identity is already known to the audience will finally be caught and exposed.

The TV Series was released 1968–1978 and 1989-2003

The character is also a part of the Lego Universe:
As DaMumbo it is a character within the Lego City Undercover Video Game.

I decided to create a vintage 403 Cabriolet with some rusty parts.
If you like you can change the rooftop and build an open model.

The Minifigure would come with its unique coat and a magnifying glass.
He would also get a notepad and a pen.

To complete the set it would contain his basset hound called "Dog".

I added some pictures to see that it would perfectly fit to Lego City and
some little crime scenes. The Buildings are not included in this set.

This would be so awesome and a lovely memory to Peter Falk.
