I love LEGO! And I am guessing that you also love LEGO as you are currently browsing LEGO Ideas.
But I don't just love LEGO. I have a number of other things that I am passionate about. Family, friends, football, ten-pin bowling and cricket. And it is the latter of these that I am hoping that you will support.
I was looking to create a LEGO model that featured cricket. For some inspiration I conducted a Google image search and came across 'The Cricketer', a 'We love sports' contest entry by Szetlik.
Inspired by their build, I looked to create my on LEGO batsman, while at the same time expanding the model to include a full popping and wicket keeper.
If this were to become a LEGO set, there could be the options to include alternative colour skin tones, hats and/or coloured kit to represent cricketers playing in a one-day or a Twenty20 match.
There is also the option to create a bowler, batsman backing up and an umpire to represent the other end of the cricket pitch. And maybe a couple of fielders could also be added.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my LEGO Ideas submission and I hope that you will click the support button.
