Help your fellow builder by leaving your feedback based on these three criteria:
- Originality: How original is this - never seen before?
- Building Techniques: How much skill do you think the creator of this MOC has, in terms of building technique?
- Details: Express how much you like the details of the build.
Your feedback is only shown to the creator as well as yourself. It is not available for other users to see. The creator won't see your user name.
Thinned out arch trim with exposed studs
This is the later version with thinner plates instead of bricks along the arch, not topped off with smooth tiles. This makes using the whole thing as a display for Justice League members at any angle or height much more stable, as was my original intent.
Back side wth flat plates finish.
Small vs Large
I keep referencing small vs large sizes. This is an imperfect but usable side by side comparison. The bigger one is 8 studs wider and 8-10 studs taller. It increases piece count 40-50% over the smaller. On first construction, the main arch of the hall roughly matched the Lego Death Star. Awesome, but much larger than I wanted.
Smaller version with flat plate tops
While I still prefer the exposed stud look, here is what my HoJ would look like if things are smoothed out. Also, I thinned out the trim on the front giving a bit more room for lettering across the top/front.
Clearer version of bigger Hall
This version features Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Aqauman, Hawkgirl, Samurai, Black Vulcan, mini Atom, and the Wonder Twins with a mini placeholder for Gleek. Still showing Bizarro, Solomon Grundy, and Cheetah as the villains.
Original larger design.
City backdrop
Can you find Titan Tower, Daily Planet and Luthorcorp behind the Hall?
LDD minifigure stand-ins
Here is a closer look at the best representation of Hawkman, Green Lantern, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Atom, Aquaman, Solomon Grundy, Bizarro, and Cheetah that I could come up with using the LDD software.
